Sure, you have rights; but, with  rights come responsibilities. 
A Citizen has the right to freedom.  
A Citizen that is not informed can be misled by propaganda. 
A Citizen that chooses  not be led realizes that knowledge will give the fuel for the answers required to elect  the proper representation.
Become a Responsible Citizen by becoming knowledgeable of the issues. Once you have this knowledge. 1. Vote and encourage others to participate  2. Communicate
Webster defines: politics as the process of government; the study of government. What Webster does not say is that how much this process dictates our life. And if you are concerned about your life- as you should be- why allow those that do not represent your requirements for your utopia to structure your life as they deem necessary for their utopia.
